Paul Nsio Signs New Contract And Joins Raith Rovers On Loan

RANGERS can today confirm that Paul Nsio has signed a new two-year contract extension with the club and will now join Raith Rovers on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The move does not fall under the loan co-operation agreement, with the midfielder joining the Scottish Championship outfit after making his league and European debut for the Gers last season.

The teenager first appeared for the Light Blues as a 16-year-old back in August 2022 in a League Cup match against Queen of the South.

He has featured in matchday squads on occasion in recent campaigns, featuring as a substitute in a Scottish Premiership fixture against Dundee United back in January and making his European bow in a UEFA Europa League League phase fixture against Union Saint-Gilloise in the same month.

Speaking after signing his contract extension, the midfielder commented: “I’m delighted to extend my contract here at Rangers.

“The last few years have flown by, and I’ve shared so many good memories throughout my time in the Academy, be it winning silverware or developing as a player each day.

“It was an honour to make my league and European debut last season and it has whet my appetite to earn more opportunities at a senior level. All glory be to God.”

Everyone wishes Paul well during his spell in the Scottish Championship.
