The midfielder was one of several Academy players included on the trip as Philippe Clement put his side through their paces ahead of the start of the competitive campaign.
And Nsio says it was an enriching learning experience to train alongside the first-team, receiving advice from players and staff about the small details required to thrive at senior level.
Speaking to RangersTV after Rangers B’s pre-season clash against Leeds United, the teenager commented: “It was a very good experience as a young player to go away with the senior side. I’ve learned a lot of things from players and staff.
“I’ll take a step from there and bring it back to the B Team.
“You need to be bang at it right from the start when you’re training with the first-team because they’ll just get on to you about the small things.
“The small details are always important, and the first-team demand more from you.
“Everyone was offering me advice, especially players such as Leon Balogun who was teaching me about different aspects of the game.
“I learned a lot and I was happy to go over.
“I hope there’s more to come. I’ve already spoken to the gaffer who told me to keep pushing and that my time will come.”
Nsio played 60 minutes this afternoon as Gers B continued their pre-season preparations with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Leeds United.
Indeed, the scoreline was a harsh reflection of the contest, with the young Gers passing up several opportunities to convert their quality into the currency of goals.
However, it was a worthwhile test for the Nsio and the Light Blues, who are continuing to build their fitness ahead of the first round of the SPFL Trust Trophy at the end of the month.
The midfielder added: “I felt like we dominated the first 45 minutes and showed that we were stronger and aggressive.
“We spoke about it at half-time and came back out strong in the first 15 minutes, then it was a blow to concede a goal when we worked so hard.
“I feel it was a lesson in taking our chances, but we move onto the next game.
“We had over five chances where we could have finished, but the goalkeepers made good saves. It’s disappointing to lose the game like that.
“We just need to be clinical infront of goal and make it count.”
