James Tavernier, Danilo, Hamza Igamane, Vaclav Cerny and a double from Cyriel Dessers saw Rangers comfortably seal the points in the Scottish Premiership.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, he said: “This is what I want to see, it is the football I want to see, the movement I want to see but also the reaction without the ball. It was a really good game from the whole squad and we need to continue that way.
“I have been the one talking to everyone about hard work and we need to create automatism, we need to create connections between players but that is normal in football.
“It is hard work, and you see that things start to gel together and players start to understand better when to move, where to move, how to play passes, how to give crosses, how to be decisive in the box and we need to continue that way.
“I am happy that the fans can see now also the potential that is in this squad, and I will keep on pushing everybody in the dressing room to get the best out of themselves.”
On the variety of goals this evening, Clement continued: “It was very good, and the way we scored with good football and good variation in our offensive actions.
“We have been working really hard in the last couple of months and that is why it was frustrating the last two league games that we created enough chances, but we only scored one time in each game.
“In Nice, we did it in a good way, and today again, so it is about keeping on pushing to have this efficiency but to continue doing the work without the ball that stays crucial not to give the opponent time to come out and to create belief with getting chances.
“It is important with a lot of young players and a lot of new players that they feel this today, that they feel where we want to go with this team and we need to create this desire to have this every time, every game and be on top to impose ourselves.”
On what this can do for the squad moving forward, the manager continued: “The feeling of the players is already really good, because they see the things that they are doing on the pitch, they didn't get the rewards in the last two league games in the number of goals so this will give also more belief.
“We wanted to give the fans something, we were frustrated, the players were frustrated that we didn't reward ourselves enough in the last couple of games also with scoring goals because we know that is what our fans want to see so these six goals were for our fans today and in that way what our players wanted to give to them.”
