Rangers are back in Scottish Premiership action this weekend with a trip to Paisley to take on St Mirren on Sunday afternoon in the first match following the league split.
Speaking to the media at this afternoon’s pre-match press conference, Clement said: “I tell them to win the next game, it is the only way, not only here but in every league.
“Anybody who is busy with more games loses their focus. It is about the next game and to show yourself. If you win you need to win the next one also or it is not good and if you don't win you need to react in the next game, so it is game by game simple as that and putting all of our energy into that, but it is exciting.
“For me it is also an evaluation moment because you can see everybody played against everybody and the same number of games. If we look back at the last six months when we have been working here together, then we are the team who has won the most points. Everybody in the club would've signed for that six months ago and nobody believed that would be possible.
“It is now about repeating that again. It is not a guarantee, but it is something they have proven already and now they need to prove it again in the next six games.”
Clement provided an update on his squad, with Abdallah Sima set to miss the match through injury, while Rabbi Matondo is also a doubt.
He continued: “Sima will be out, we are in contact with Brighton about that for the next couple of weeks. I hope to see him playing again this season and he is very motivated for that. He is a terrific lad, he is somebody with really strong mental strength, a really positive person and he wants to come back as fast as possible and works hard for that.
“Rabbi Matondo also got a bad tackle during that game, so he is doubtful for the weekend, but Ridvan and Ryan Jack I expect back to training next week.”
When asked about how last weekend’s Scottish Cup semi-final victory over Hearts boosted morale in the group, the manager insisted it has always been there as they look to end the season strong.
He continued: “If you don't have the morale, you cannot play that way against Hearts. Hearts have played a very good season, they won a lot of points, they have been a strong team, and we couldn’t have won in the way we did if the morale was not good, it is impossible.
“They have proven it, it is not something that you hope for that comes falling out of the sky. It is something they did already, it is now repeating it and making it better.”
