The Young Gers have already made history this season becoming the first Colts team to reach the last four of the Challenge Cup competition.
The side, led by Graeme Murty and Peter Lovenkrands, have progressed though away ties at Berwick Rangers, Stranraer, Ballymena United, Solihull Moors and a home draw against Wrexham to get to this stage.
It has been a fantastic run from the young side, and something that coach Peter Lovenkrands is proud to be part of.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of the semi-final, he said: “It’s been phenomenal when you look back at some of the results we have had. It has been brilliant and it is quite special and it’s fun to see and be part of.
“It is down to us now to make sure the boys are ready and to make sure they are up to scratch and know exactly what they are doing.
“I think I can see them growing and understanding the situation of the competition.
“It is probably one of those games where when you get the opportunities you need to be able to take them.
“The players need to understand the situation that they are in – this is big.
“It’s not any cup game, this is a proper cup it is a really exciting time for them. After what happened against Atletico the perfect thing is to go and get a result in Inverness so we are hopefully go there and do the best we can to get that win.”
Lovenkrands is hoping the players can go out and enjoy the occasion of the game.
He continued: “It will be amazing, Rangers fans when they travel they have come in numbers for some of our games, even against Atletico and potentially for this.
“Ben Williamson is a doubt, it is a real shame because Ben has been fantastic for us so far.
“He missed the Atletico game and it has been a bit unfortunate timing for him but there’s a lot of boys lying there waiting.
“Jack Thomson is on the way back but it is probably a bit early for him needs a bit longer but I think everybody else should be fit and ready.”
