AFTER lifting the CAS Elite Under-17 league title last week, Rangers Under-17s will make the trip to France to compete in the Festival d’Armor this weekend.
It is a tournament which features several of France’s heavyweight clubs, including PSG, AS Saint-Etienne and OGC Nice.
Inspired by the recently introduced UEFA Champions League league phase, the tournament consists of two groups of seven teams.
Rangers will face four teams within their group, with the draw pitting them against Breda SVM of the Netherlands, Senegal Armor of Senegal, KAS Eupen of Belgium, and Rennes of France.
The top four teams across both groups advance to the semi-finals, with the rest of the field playing ranking matches to determine finishing place.
Each match will be played to 20-minute halves, with a five-minute half-time pause.
