The programme will see coaches from the Light Blues travel to Australia to deliver sessions to the New Lambton players, while players from New Lambton will travel to Glasgow and Scotland to experience football and culture here, once the advice surrounding Covid-19 makes it safe to do so.
New Lambton coaches will also have access to the superb new Rangers Online Academy which now has over 700 coaches from all over the world subscribing to that helps develop their coaching skills based on sessions from the Rangers Academy and pass on that new knowledge to their players.
It’s just the latest in a long line of similar partnerships as Rangers Soccer Academy continue to enhance and build on their good reputation around the globe.
Rangers’ Head of Soccer Academies and International Relations, Gary Gibson, commented: “This agreement with New Lambton Football Club is another positive step for us as we continue to grow our international footprint through collaboration with football organisations that are eager to develop their club, coaches and players.
“Over the next three years, we will also have staff travel to Australia to deliver camp and coach education events and have tours groups coming to Glasgow for football and cultural experiences.”
