RANGERS and Castore are delighted to announce that The Rangers Store: Belfast will open this Saturday.
The new official store is situated in a prominent location on Donegall Place in central Belfast and will be open from 10am on May, 1.
The store is the third to be opened in partnership with Castore following Ibrox and Buchanan Galleries. It is the first outwith Scotland and shows the club’s commitment to our incredibly loyal supporters in Northern Ireland.
Rangers Commercial and Marketing Director, James Bisgrove said: "We are excited about the Donegall Place store that is opening on Saturday. It will become the only official Rangers Store for our support base in Northern Ireland which we know is thriving.
"We looked at some of the numbers and found there are 160 supporters clubs in Northern Ireland which is the highest density of supporters clubs globally only second to Greater Glasgow.
"We remain acutely aware of the vast number of Season Ticket Holders, MyGers members, RangersTV subscribers and children participating at the Rangers Soccer Academies in Northern Ireland, which further underlines the significance of this announcement.
"The store will stand as the only official retail outlet for supporters in Northern Ireland to buy Rangers products that will directly benefit the club – alongside our new official online shop"
Rangers midfielder and Northern Ireland captain Steven Davis added: “We all know the following that the club has in Northern Ireland and I think it is great that the store is going to be opening - there has always been that connection historically.
"Historically the club have always had players from Northern Ireland in the youth system and through the first-team as well so it is good that I am obviously flying the flag in that sense now."
