Rangers Announce Expanded Partnership With Destination Sport Group

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce an expanded partnership with sports travel specialists Destination Sport Group ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 campaign.

This broader, long-term agreement will see Sportsbreaks.com, become the principal partner of the women’s team and the new front-of-shirt partner of the side for the season ahead.

Sportsbreaks.com is a leading travel provider offering ticket inclusive packages to many of the world’s top sporting events including UK and European football, several Formula 1 races around the world, the Rugby World Cup and much more.

Meanwhile, Destination Sport Travel – the UK’s leading travel management company for elite sports teams and governing bodies – will continue to support Rangers with travel requirements for first-team travel. On occasion, Destination Sport Travel may work with the club to provide supporter travel where Rangers are playing in European destinations with limited travel links.

The comprehensive travel partnership also incorporates inspiresport, the UK’s leading youth development tour business, who will provide opportunities for schools and teams to experience official Rangers tours including specialist coaching at elite club facilities.

The new partnership is another positive in what is a new era for the women’s side as they go in search of regaining the league title and adding domestic silverware in the upcoming campaign beginning in just under six weeks under the management of new head coach Jo Potter.

Having already added new signing Michelle Colson to the ranks the head coach will be looking to hit the ground running in the new season which begins with a trip to the capital to face Spartans on the opening day on Sunday, August 13 before Gers fans can see the side in action at home for the first time in 2023/24 seven days later at Broadwood Stadium against Aberdeen.

Destination Sport Group managing director Paul Hemingway said: “We’re delighted to announce an expanded partnership with Rangers Football Club.

“Destination Sport have enjoyed a strong relationship with Rangers for many years, so it gives us great pleasure to not only continue handling the club’s team and business travel requirements, but for Sportsbreaks.com to support the women’s team.

“The opportunity to incorporate inspiresport and in-turn provide opportunities for schools and teams with the chance to experience Rangers Football Club tours, is another exciting addition.”

Incoming Rangers chief executive James Bisgrove also had his say on the partnership, he commented: “We are delighted to come to an agreement with Destination Sport ahead of the new season with this exciting partnership bringing further positivity to our women’s side both on and off the pitch ahead of the new campaign.

“There are so many opportunities not only for our teams at all levels from this partnership, but also for our supporters and younger teams who wish to travel to use our elite facilities at the Rangers Training Centre.

“We look forward to continuing to work closely with Destination Sport in the coming years. I’d also like to place on record my thanks to Biowave for their previous front of shirt sponsorship and support of our women’s programme in recent years.”
