RANGERS Football Club can today confirm the signing of Kosta Nedeljković from Aston Villa on a season-long loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy, subject to international clearance.
The 20-year-old right-back arrives at Ibrox with experience in the Premier League and Bundesliga, as well as at international level with Serbia.
Nedeljković progressed through the youth ranks at Red Star Belgrade and made his senior breakthrough during the 2023/24 campaign.
His performances earned him a move to Aston Villa in January 2024, remaining with Red Star on loan for the remainder of the season as the club secured a domestic league and cup double.
The defender made his Premier League debut for Villa against West Ham United in August 2024, making 10 appearances before joining Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on loan in February 2025.
Nedeljković returned to Leipzig for the 2025/26 campaign, continuing his development in the German top flight and gaining further experience of European football.
On the international stage, he represented Serbia at youth level before making his senior debut in 2024.
Speaking after joining Rangers, Nedeljković said: “I am very excited. Rangers is such a big club, a big family, and I am excited to join and help the team have success together.
“For me, it was an easy decision after meeting with the coach; I only wanted Rangers. It is a big opportunity and a big responsibility. I always try to be positive and work hard so I am ready to help the team.”

“He has already gained some valuable experience at a high level in England and Germany, as well as representing Serbia internationally. Kosta is an athletic and energetic full-back who is keen to get forward, but he also has a real desire to defend and compete, and he will further strengthen a key area for us.
