RANGERS can today announce the signing of midfielder Vanja Dragojević from FK Partizan on a four-year deal, with the option for an additional year, subject to international clearance and a successful visa application.
He becomes the seventh addition of the summer for Derek McInnes’ side, joining from the Serbian outfit where he wore the captain’s armband last season at the age of just 19.
Dragojević has also been capped twice by Serbia, making his international debut against Cape Verde earlier this year.
The midfielder was part of the FK Partizan youth ranks before joining FK Teleoptik of the second tier on loan in 2024.
He impressed to the extent that his parent club recalled him ahead of the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, where he made his senior debut against FK Radnik Surdulica in cup action.
Dragojević became a regular in the side over the coming months, playing the full 90 minutes as a teenager in the Belgrade derby away from home in April of that season.
Last season, the midfielder made 41 appearances in all competitions for FK Partizan as captain.
Speaking upon joining the club, Dragojević commented: "It feels amazing, and I'm really happy and proud to be part of such a big club like Rangers.
"It's a big opportunity, and I can't wait to get started.
"I first heard [the interest] three months ago, and when I heard it I already knew it was very interesting to me because I think the winning mentality that Rangers have is compatible with my mentality."
Manager, Derek McInnes, added: "We are really excited to bring Vanja on board.
"He's got huge potential, really exciting attributes, and boasts the character to play in this environment. To captain a club the size of FK Partizan at such a young age tells you everything you need to know about the respect he commands and the leadership qualities he already possesses.
