RANGERS Academy can confirm the B Team will face UEFA Europa Conference League side Breidablik in a fresh addition to their games programme this month.
The young Gers will square off against the Icelandic side’s first-team at the Rangers Training Centre, presented by Park’s Motor Group, on Sunday October 22 with a 3:30pm kick-off.
Two-time champions of the Icelandic top-flight, Breidablik have regularly competed in the European qualification stages in recent seasons, earning a place in the group stages of the Europa Conference League this season where they are competing alongside Gent, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Zorya Luhansk in Group B.
It promises to be a stern test for the Light Blues against experienced European opposition following the conclusion of the Breidablik’s domestic campaign on Sunday.
