RANGERS can today provide an update regarding our pre-professional players who have departed the club permanently and also on loan.
A number of players enjoyed temporary spells across SPWPL and SPWPL 2 sides last season as they continued to gain valuable experience amongst Scotland’s top two tiers.
CaCee McKenna, who spent last season on loan at now newly promoted top-flight side Spartans, has departed the club permanently and moved to Partick Thistle.
Several other players will spend the up and coming campaign on loan, Sophie Townsley, who gained experience with Motherwell in the second half of last season, will also join Gary Holt’s Thistle side for the season ahead.
Trio of Mia McArthur, Sophie Rutherford and Saoirse Coyle-Morrow will join Motherwell, with the latter featuring for the Light Blues on occasion last season, making her debut in the Sky Sports Cup quarter-finals.
Natalie Bandura, who enjoyed a vastly impressive campaign with Spartans as they were crowned SPWPL 2 champions, will join up with the Edinburgh club once again as they prepare for their return to the top tier.
The club are delighted to continue to work with other SPWPL clubs in furthering the development of our academy graduates this coming season, and have agreed the following season-long loans subject to clearance:
