Never before have Gers played Liverpool or Napoli in competitive fixtures, while Gers have played Ajax in four games over two ties previously.
The two met in the first ever Super Cup, with Cup Winners’ Cup holders Gers and the European Cup winners coming together in January 1973. Ajax were 3-1 winners at Ibrox before claiming a 3-2 victory in Amsterdam.
They were then drawn together again in 1996 again in Group A of the Champions League. There, Gers went down 4-1 in Amsterdam before losing 1-0 at Ibrox.
The meeting with Ajax will also see the return of Calvin Bassey to Ibrox with the defender having made the switch to Amsterdam in the summer.
The draw will also be mirrored in the UEFA Youth League, which Gers will enter the group stage of for the first time.
The match schedule will be confirmed in due course, with fixtures taking place on the following dates:

Matchday 2: 13/14 September
Matchday 3: 4/5 October
Matchday 4: 11/12 October
Matchday 5: 25/26 October
Matchday 6: 1/2 November
