RANGERS will travel to Falkirk in round two of the Betfred Cup following tonight’s draw at Easter Road.
Gers, of course, enter the competition at this stage as a result of being one of Scotland’s European entrants, while Falkirk finished second in Group E of the group stage of the competition with nine points where they had wins over Dumbarton and Clyde and were awarded a further three points due to their game with Kilmarnock being postponed due to Covid.
Gers last faced the Bairns in March 2018 in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup. Jason Cummings netted a hat-trick in a 4-1 win for Graeme Murty’s side.
Falkirk are second in League One having won two and drawn two of their four matches played so far this season.
The tie is set to be played on the weekend of 28/29 November.
