RECENTLY Rangers were delighted to host the inaugural meeting of the Rangers Fan Advisory Board. This event marks a significant step in strengthening the bond between the club's leadership and our loyal supporters.

Led by CEO James Bisgrove, the Rangers Executive Board has committed to a groundbreaking supporter engagement strategy, a pioneering initiative in Scotland.

Integral to this strategy is the Fan Advisory Board, playing a vital role in shaping our engagement efforts.

The meeting brought together key members from both Rangers Football Club and the Fan Advisory Board.

Discussions were focused on the executive board’s new strategy for Rangers, setting up collaborative processes and procedures for effective partnership with the Fan Advisory Board, and reviewing recent club announcements.

Additionally, the Fan Advisory Board shared their key focus areas, which include:

  • MyGers and Ticketing

  • Inclusion

  • Safe Standing/Singing Section

  • Ibrox Experience

  • Heritage

Rangers’ Chief Executive, James Bisgrove, expressed his enthusiasm, explaining: “This collaboration with the Fan Advisory Board is a pivotal development.

Sharing information and insights will ensure that supporters remain at the heart of every key decision we make.”

Stuart Langan, the newly appointed Chair of the Fan Advisory Board, also shared his perspective.

He said: “We, as the Fan Advisory Board, are fully committed to representing the views of our supporters.

"We aim to utilise our collective experience to contribute positively to the future of Rangers Football Club.”

This meeting signifies not just a step forward in the running of the club, but a leap towards a future where fans are more deeply integrated into the fabric of the club.
