While Rangers isn’t usually a club that would back something green, this weekend will see the Light Blues get right behind the Green Football initiative by welcoming supporters to donate their old kits at our Fan Zone presented by Experience Kissimmee within Edmiston House presented by Park's Motor Group.
Those who pass on their kits also have the chance to win some fantastic prizes!
All kits donated will be passed onto the Salvation Army.
Green Football’s Great Save is the world’s biggest climate-football campaign, which brings together the football community to take action to tackle climate change and protect the future of the game.
The campaign focuses on the estimated 100,000 tonnes of sportswear that ends up in UK landfills every year, taking decades to break down and contributing to methane emissions—a powerful greenhouse gas which fuels climate change.
Throughout the campaign, fans, clubs and players have been helping to make the great save, by donating, selling or reusing kit instead of throwing it away.
