Rangers will donate 100% of the club proceeds from sales of the Rangers x Bengaluru co-branded scarf to organisations who are supporting the response to Covid-19. Proceeds will be split between Let’s Be the Change and The Pawsome People Project. Let’s Be The Change are providing medical assistance – big and small – to people who are struggling to afford it whereas The Pawsome People Project are feeding vulnerable animals who have been neglected through the pandemic.
In addition, Rangers will provide children’s charities in Bangalore with a donation of Rangers branded blankets, stationary kits and small toys.
Rangers are proud to have developed a wide-ranging strategic partnership with Bengaluru F.C. focused on a number of important initiatives and we are pleased to extend this relationship to supporting the wider community in Bangalore and wider India.
This is another example of Rangers demonstrating that we are much more than a football club. As we enter our 150th year, as the first major European club to reach this milestone, we have once again shown that we have ‘community’ at our heart. This is not only the local community in Glasgow, Scotland and the wider UK, but our friends across the world.
