RANGERS have a number of players out on loan across the Men's, Women’s and Academy sides at present, and here’s our review of how each of those in action fared over their recent outings.
Findlay Curtis – Winger – Kilmarnock
It was a fantastic end to the season for both Findlay and Kilmarnock as they preserved their Scottish Premiership status with two further wins to round off the campaign.
The young winger has enjoyed a vastly impressive loan spell in Ayrshire during the second half of the season, helping the side to a 3-1 midweek success over Dundee before rounding off the scoring in the 4-1 win at Livingston on the final day.
Curtis’ form was then rewarded with a place in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad this morning for this summer’s World Cup finals to be played in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Lyall Cameron – Midfielder – Aberdeen
It was a disappointing end to the season for Stephen Robinson’s Aberdeen as they suffered back-to-back league defeats.
The midfielder was introduced as a 46th-minute substitute in their midweek home defeat at the hands of St Mirren, before he was recalled to the starting side for the final day loss to Dundee, assisting his side’s initial equaliser in a 3-2 away defeat.

Oscar Cortes – Winger – CA Huracan
Oscar appeared as a substitute for CA Huracan as they were beaten 1-0 by Argentine Juniors last Wednesday evening after extra time.
It was in a quarter-final clash in the Argentine Primera Division, with the winger racking up a handful of appearances during his spell in South America.

Ross McCausland – Winger – Aris Limassol
Ross, meanwhile, was introduced as a substitute and registered an assist in Aris’ final day defeat to runners-up Apollon.
The Northern Irish winger featured regularly for the Cypriot side during the season, as they finished in sixth position in the table.

Jose Cifuentes – Midfielder – Toronto FC
Jose was absent once again through injury for Toronto FC over the weekend.
The Canadian outfit lost out to Charlotte in what has been a mixed start to the MLS season for Robin Fraser’s men.

Calum Adamson – Midfielder – Alloa Athletic
Calum featured in both legs as Alloa suffered Championship play-off heartbreak at the hands of Stenhousemuir.
He started both legs as the Wasps lost out 3-2 on aggregate, however it has been a highly productive loan spell for the young midfielder, gaining senior football experience for the first time in his career.

Callum Burnside – Winger – Alloa Athletic
Callum, likewise, started twice for Alloa in their play-off final defeat.
Having lost the first leg 3-1 on home soil, it was a huge ask in the return leg at Ochilview Park, but they did make a real fight of it, having won the game on the day and narrowly missing out on taking the tie to extra time.

Lewis Stewart – Winger – Alloa Athletic
Lewis similarly started both matches for Alloa.
The 18-year-old has earned valuable gametime for Andy Graham’s side and will be better off for the loan experience for the future.

Josh Gentles – Forward – Alloa Athletic
Josh was absent for Alloa for their final two matches of the season after sustaining an injury against Queen of the South in February that has sidelined the forward for a period of time.

Zander Hutton – Defender – Hamilton Academical
Zander started both outings as Hamilton preserved their Scottish League One status by holding off Clyde in the play-off final.
Having played out a tense 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening, a thrilling Friday finale saw the Accies win 4-3 on the night and claim a narrow aggregate victory to secure safety.

Telma Ivarsdottir – Goalkeeper- Inter Milan
Telma was handed her first appearance for the Italian club as they were beaten 3-0 by Como on the final day of the season.
The goalkeeper has had to be patient in waiting for opportunities since her January loan switch, with her team already condemned to finishing in second place in the table prior to the fixture.

Sophie Townsley – Striker – Motherwell
Sophie was introduced as a second-half substitute as Motherwell rounded off their season with a 2-2 home draw with Aberdeen.
The young forward racked up 10 games for Iain Robinson’s side during the second half of the campaign, who finished the post-split matches unbeaten.

Mia McArthur – Midfielder- Motherwell
Mia, however, was not involved for the SPWPL side in the final outing of 25/26.
She racked up a handful of top-flight games, having moved to the K-Park side on loan in January from spending the first half of the season with Gartcairn.

Natalie Bandura – Striker – Spartans
It was a fantastic end to the SPWPL 2 season for Natalie and Spartans as they pipped Kilmarnock to the title on the final day of the season.
Having to win and hope for a favour elsewhere, the striker helped the Edinburgh side to a 2-0 win over Dundee United with a goal and assist and that ultimately was enough to secure their place back in the top flight at the first time of asking.

CaCee McKenna – Defender – Spartans
CaCee, likewise, played her part in a thrilling end to the season at Ainslie Park as she started their final outing.
13 points adrift at one stage, they defied the odds to bounce straight back to the SWPL and can start preparing for top-flight football again next season.

Sophie Rutherford – Winger- Queen’s Park
Sophie was on the scoresheet and had a huge say in where the SPWPL 2 title ended up as Queen’s Park inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Kilmarnock on the final day.
The Spiders will have promotion ambitions themselves, as they begin their play-off journey in the quarter-final when they face Boroughmuir Thistle at Meadowbank tomorrow evening.

Lucy Livie – Winger- Boroughmuir Thistle
Lucy made her return to the Boroughmuir ranks as a second-half substitute as she featured for 25 minutes of the game following injury.
She will be hopeful of playing a part in their play-off last eight clash against Queen’s Park in Edinburgh tomorrow evening.

Rebecca Simpson – Defender – Gartcairn
Rebecca was in the lineup from the off in Gartcairn’s 1-1 draw with Boroughmuir on the final day of the SPWPL 2 season.
She has racked up several appearances for the Airdrie-based side, having been part of the Gers’ pre-season squad for fixtures last July.

Alba Stewart – Midfielder- Gartcairn
Alba, likewise, was also in the starting lineup for their score draw on the final day.
Their league position of sixth was already confirmed heading into their last outing, as they now prepare for the summer break and target a strong campaign in the 26/27 season.
