Cole McKinnon – Partick Thistle

Cole was again named in Ian McCall’s starting XI on Saturday afternoon as the Jags welcomed Raith Rovers to Firhill in their Championship match.

McKinnon played the majority of the game as he was substituted off in extra time in their 2-1 victory against Ian Murray’s squad.

Thistle will now host Arbroath at Firhill on Tuesday night for their second-round match in the Scottish League cup.

Jay Hogarth – Alloa

The Gers loanee was again named in Brian Rice’s starting line-up on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed Peterhead to the Recreation Park Alloa for their League One match.

It was a positive result for the Wasps as Hogarth and the squad were able to maintain a clean sheet in their 5-0 victory against Jim McInally’s side.

Alloa will travel to the SuperSeal Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they take on Clyde in their next League One match.

Murray Miller – Alloa

Murray was an 84th minute substitute for the Wasps on Saturday as they hosted Peterhead at the Recreation Park Alloa for their league fixture.

It was a positive result for Brian Rice’s side as they collected all three points in their league match after defeating Jim McInally’s squad 5-0 at home.

Lewis Mayo – Kilmarnock

Mayo was again named in Derek McInnes’ starting XI on Saturday as they welcomed Motherwell to Rugby Park for their Premiership match.

The youngster played the full 90 minutes of the game where the squad picked up another important three points after a 2-1 victory against Steven Hammell’s side.

The squad will now refocus their attention to Wednesday evening where they travel to Tynecastle to take on Hearts in the second round of the Scottish League Cup.

Ben Williamson – Dundee

Ben was a 69th minute substitute for Gary Bowyer’s squad on Friday evening as they travelled to Somerset Park to face Ayr United in their Championship fixture.

It was a challenging match for visiting side as Lee Bullen’s squad took all three points in their 3-1 defeat at Somerset Park.

The Championship side will look to bounce back quickly as they host Falkirk at Dens Park on Tuesday evening in the second-round of the Scottish League Cup.

Josh was an 81st minute substitute for Owen Coyle’s side on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed Cove Rangers to Ochilview Park for their Championship match.

Juan Alegria – Falkirk

Juan was named in Jon McGlynn’s starting XI on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed Queen of the South to Falkirk Stadium in their League One match.

Megan Cunningham – Partick Thistle Women

Megan was named in Brian Graham’s starting XI on Sunday afternoon as the squad travelled to Ainslie Park to take on Spartans in their SWPL 1 fixture.

It was a challenging match for Thistle, but they managed to take a point and maintain a clean sheet after their 0-0 draw against the Edinburgh side.

Graham’s squad will host Motherwell at Petershill Park on Sunday 11th September for their next match in the league campaign following the women’s international break.
