RANGERS Online Academy are pleased to announce the next instalment in our webinar series, featuring former Rangers player and current B Team Coach, Kevin Thomson.
Thomson signed for Walter Smith's Rangers on the 30th January 2007.
He quickly established himself as a regular in the Rangers first team, scoring his first goal for the club in a victory against Celtic on the 29th March 2008.
Kevin played a vital role in the club's run to the 2008 UEFA Cup Final and won the League Cup and Scottish Cup in his first full season.
Kevin also won back-to-back SPL titles in 2008/09 and 2009/10, and the 2009/10 League Cup to seal five trophies in three seasons.
Kevin returned to the club in January 2019 as U18's coach and has since progressed to coach of the newly formed B Team Squad alongside another former Rangers player, Brian Gilmour.

The Rangers Online Academy resource features exclusive footage of coaching sessions with the Rangers Academy’s top coaches and provides observers with unprecedented access to the club’s methodology on youth development.
The Online Academy has already been used extensively by Rangers’ Official Partner clubs Bengaluru FC in India and Orange County Soccer Club in the United States and is now available to clubs at all levels across the globe.
