Yet again, it’s a fantastic total for the club to have away representing their nations, and highlights the superb development of the side in the last two seasons to now have so many international players.
This time around, it’s more than just UEFA nations in action, with off playing for Nigeria with two friendly matches and back with Colombia for two World Cup qualifiers.
Here in Europe, the Nations League continues for everyone in all four divisions, while Gers’ Scottish, Northern Irish and Romanian players are involved in rescheduled Euro 2020 play-off semi-finals.
Indeed, one of those Northern Irish players, , is set to become his country’s all-time record caps holder with 120.

Colombia:
Alfredo Morelos is back in the Colombia squad for their opening 2022 World Cup qualifying matches at home to Venezuela and then away to Chile.
Morelos has seven Colombia caps to his name, and is joined in the squad by a host of familiar names such as Davinson Sanchez of Spurs, Yerry Mina and James Rodqiguez of Everton and Radamel Falcao of Galatasaray, whom, of course, El Bufalo got the better of last week in the Europa League.

Croatia:
Borna, like most European internationalists, faces a triple-header of fixtures over this international break.
Beginning on Wednesday, the Croatians are away to Cedric Itten’s Switzerland in a friendly before hosting Filip Helander’s Sweden in Nations League A Group 3, where they could be doing with a victory following a back-to-back defeats in their opening fixtures.
They then round-off by hosting France in a re-run of the World Cup final in the Nations League next Wednesday.

Finland:
Glen and Finland have three matches over the weekend, starting on Wednesday night when they travel to Poland in a friendly.
It’s then onto Nations League action, where the Finns, who sit second in their group, host Bulgaria and Ireland.

Nigeria:
Leon returns to international duty with two home friendly matches against Algeria and Tunisia.
The Nigerians are warming up for a double header African Cup of Nations qualifiers in November home and away to Sierra Leone.

Northern Ireland: ,
Steven Davis is set to become Northern Ireland’s most-capped player with his 120th appearance in their Euro 2020 play-off semi-final match away to Bosnia.
Jordan Jones is also in the squad, and they follow their crunch play-off with Nations League matches at home to Austria on Sunday and then away to Norway next Wednesday.

Rangers’ three Scotland internationals, Jon McLaughlin, Ryan Jack and Robby McCrorie (who is on-loan at Livingston) face a massive week of defining fixtures.
The Scots host Israel on Thursday in their Euro 2020 play-off semi-final at Hampden, with the winners of that having a play-off final with Serbia or Norway in November.
From there, it’s two Nations League matches, both at Hampden, with Slovakia on Sunday and then the Czech Republic on Wednesday.

Scotland under-21s face a crunch game with the Czech Republic at Tynecastle on Friday as they bid to qualify for next year’s Euro under-21 championships.

Sweden:
Fil Helander’s Sweden are off to Moscow for a friendly with Russia on Wednesday at CSKA’s VEB Arena.
That’s followed by their latest Nations League match at Borna Barisic’s Croatia on Sunday before continuing their journey across the continent, ending at Portugal in the Nations League on Wednesday.

Switzerland:
After missing the last international break through injury, Cedric Itten is back in the Switzerland national team, which kicks off with a home friendly with Borna Barisic’s Croatia on Wednesday.
Afterwards, it’s off to face Spain in Madrid in the Nations League and Germany in Cologne with the Swiss having just a point to their name so far.
