Rangers Sign Dina Orschmann

RANGERS are today delighted to announce the signing of Dina Orschmann from Bundesliga side FFC Turbine Potsdam.

The German forward will make the move to Scotland to join Malky Thomson’s side ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Starting her youth career at SFC Stern, Orschmann then moved to FC Union Berlin where she progressed into the senior team in 2014.

She then had a spell in America at Central Florida Knights before returning to Germany in 2019 to sign with FFC Turbine Potsdam in the top flight of German football.

The 24-year-old has also represented her country at youth international level up to U20s.

On signing for Rangers, she said: “It is just amazing, it has been great to be around the team and I am just looking forward to the upcoming season.

Head coach Malky Thomson added: “It is great to welcome Dina to our squad ahead of the start of the new season.

“She is an exciting forward who will be a great addition to our squad. With her experience in Germany and America she can bring a lot to Rangers both on and off the pitch and myself and the staff are looking forward to working with her.”
