RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB is once again proud to join clubs across the UK in endorsing the Rainbow Laces campaign in support of the LGBTQ+ community.
Since it first kicked off in 2013, ‘Rainbow Laces’ aims to bring visibility to the LGBTQ+ community within sport, championing the way for inclusion and togetherness.
The iconic Rainbow Laces have become a symbol of inclusion, highlighting how people from all walks of life can gain a sense of belonging through the shared passion of sport.
The aims of ‘Rainbow Laces’ match those of Rangers’ own Everyone Anyone initiative.
Everyone is welcome at our modern, progressive football club, regardless of their background, with Rangers and the Rangers Charity Foundation proud to champion and celebrate diversity.
Interim Chairman, John Gilligan, commented: “Everyone at Rangers is very proud to once again show our support for Rainbow Laces.
“We are rightfully proud of our diverse fanbase, workforce and playing squads at the club, with the aims of our own Everyone Anyone campaign mirroring the values of the Rainbow Laces campaign.
“Our love of Rangers is what unites us, and it is incumbent on us all at Rangers to foster an environment where nobody should feel excluded and there is no place for discrimination.”
