Since May 2021, Rangers fans have purchased over 250,000 replica shirts as the club celebrated its historic 55th title win and began its 150th anniversary season, surpassing all previous kit sales records in the club's history.

This is a remarkable achievement and underlines the unquestioned loyalty of Rangers supporters, from across the globe, who continue to back the team near and far by purchasing official products that directly support club investment.

The phenomenal shirt sales sit alongside hundreds of thousands of training wear and Champions items sold both online and at the three Rangers Stores in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Following on from the success of the Ibrox, Buchanan Galleries and Belfast stores, Glasgow Airport has become the chosen destination to house the club’s fourth store and will open its doors on 11th August.

The new store has been strategically positioned to provide an exceptional retail experience for those travelling to and from fixtures all over the world.

As fans return to football stadiums, the latest store opening emphasises the current strength of the club’s retail operation. With the title winners also competing for a place in the Champions League, a competition that would see many European clubs and their supporters travelling in and out of Glasgow airport, the opening couldn’t come at a better time.

Castore’s Director of Partnerships, Pascal Lafitte expressed his excitement about the club’s continued retail growth: "Opening a new Rangers Store is always a proud moment for Castore, but the Glasgow Airport store has special significance as it comes at a time when Rangers are competing amongst the best in European football.

"We are confident the store will provide fans with a great shopping experience when they travel to cheer Rangers and we would also like to thank them for their continuous support.

"Breaking the kit sales record is testimony of their passion for the club and we are honoured to be part of the journey."

The Glasgow airport store opens its doors to the public on 11 August and highlights the ongoing success of the partnership between Castore and Rangers.

Rangers Director of Commercial and Marketing James Bisgrove, commented : "Since May this year, we’ve already surpassed all previous records of kit sales following our 55th League title victory and as we embark upon this special 150th anniversary season.

"These figures are further testament to the remarkable and unique backing of Rangers supporters both domestically and across the globe. They also cement Rangers stature as one of the leading European clubs in terms of kit and merchandise sales.

"Next week’s opening of the Rangers Store at Glasgow Airport represents another important step forward in our continued expansion of Rangers thriving retail operations, in close collaboration with our partners Castore.

"With Ibrox confirmed to return to its roaring 50,000 capacity, coupled with the gradual resumption of international travel, the opening of our latest Rangers Store couldn’t come at a better time."
