The Light Blues ended the Scottish Premiership season with a 2-2 draw away to Hibernian, with the midfielder finding the target with a second-half header.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, he said: “It has been a tough season for us because we care, as a team we care a lot, and we couldn't achieve what we wanted so it has been a tough season.
“Now it is just about going away, refreshing your mind, resting your body and then coming back with a different mindset and just thinking about what we can do to be successful and then just going and doing it.”
On this afternoon’s match, Raskin continued: “We know they are a good team, we started well scoring a goal, but then something must be happening in the VAR and they have not seen that we scored a second one.
“It was a bit of basketball, everybody attacking and counter-attacking but it is that type of end of season game, we wanted the win, but it is just going to be now about resting and looking forward to next season.”
Raskin thought he had a first-half goal, as the ball appeared to cross the line before Rocky Bushiri’s clearance, on that incident, he added: “I thought it was a goal to be honest, but then I was doubting and I went to see the images at half-time and I was like wow it is clearly a goal. It is a strange decision but we have plenty other time to score another goal, so it is not because of that we have not won.
The Belgian has been enjoying his spell of late with impact in the attacking areas, he added: “I have been quite good with the headers since I have been allowed to be in the box, so I am just happy to score goals and add some to my game. It has been a good spell for me the last couple of games, so I just enjoy it.
“I am one of the smallest. The other boys are not expecting me to go, or they just think I am not good enough. We have some big guys so if they put big on me it means one of our big guys are free, so they need to choose. The deliveries have been so good from Tav and Vac too, so it is just a tap in.”
