The young Gers were encamped inside the Fraserburgh backline as the half ticked towards the half-hour mark, with Kieron Willox firing off target with an ambitious effort from the edge of the penalty area.

Rydnn McGuire was called into action minutes later as he made a smart stop at his near post, before the Light Blues were bemoaning their misfortune when the best opportunity of the opening 45 minutes went begging as Calum Adamson flicked an effort onto the inside of the post after a ricocheted effort fell kindly to the 16-year-old.
The Light Blues picked up where they left off to open the second period as Curtis and Willox combined before the former fired over the crossbar under pressure from a Fraserburgh defender.
Willox again looked to cut through the Fraserburgh backline when he stepped inside off the left and fired an effort wide of the frame of Inglis' goal.
And the breakthrough arrived for the Gers just beyond the hour-mark as they were rewarded for their persistence. Blaine McClure's dangerous corner from the left-hand side travelled all the way through to Burnside who stabbed home unmarked at the back post from point-blank range.
The go-ahead goal then prompted a double switch from the away side as Cameron Bell and Lyle Wark entered the fray.
Rangers' advantage was quickly doubled as they left the Highland League outfit with a mountain to climb with a quarter of an hour remaining. Gentles was fouled when advancing towards goal after turning neatly 20 yards from goal, with the 16-year-old springing quickly to his feet to plant a clever driven free-kick into the bottom corner.
The away side were inches away from putting the game beyond doubt moments later when Curtis caught a sweet half-volley on the edge of the penalty which flew agonisingly wide.
However, they didn't have to wait long to put the icing on the cake as substitute Lyle Wark drove menacingly towards goal and planted a supreme finish into the top corner.
There was still time for one more from a Light Blues perspective as Gentles' angled strike across the goalkeeper doubled his own tally for the evening and ensured an enjoyable journey back down south for Smith's side.
