Fellow centre-back Brianna Westrup added to the scoring in the second-half with her first Rangers goal as the Light Blues picked up three points on the road.
Malky Thomson named an unchanged side for this evening’s match as he stuck with the same starting XI that beat Spartans 5-0 in the Capital on Sunday.
Rangers started with a high tempo and forced a few early corners as they looked to take control of the game.
From one of the set pieces Gers got the breakthrough with just seven minutes on the clock, Lizzie Arnot delivered a corner into the box with defender Carly Girasoli rising well to send home a powerful header.
Girasoli came close with another header shortly after as Emma Brownlie delivered a dangerous ball into the box but the defender’s effort was held by Emily Mutch.
At the other end Hibs broke through Colette Cavanagh down the left and she cut inside and tried an effort from a tight angle but it hit the side netting.
Rangers doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark in almost identical fashion to the opening goal.
From the opposite corner, Arnot again delivered an inviting ball into the box with Carly Girasoli getting her head on the ball to fire home her second of the evening.
Malky Thomson made two changes at the break with Sonia O’Neill and Rachel McLauchlan coming on in place of Brogan Hay and Zoe Ness.
Rangers started the second-half in the same manner as the first, instantly putting pressure on the hosts.
A corner delivered by Lizzie Arnot less than a minute into the half was again met by Carly Girasoli but her header bounced back off the crossbar before the danger was cleared by Hibs.
As Rangers pushed for a third, Rachel McLauchlan did well to win the ball back at the half-way line before driving towards the Hibs goal. McLauchan fed the ball to Brownlie on the overlap but her cross was pushed away by the Hibs goalkeeper before Lizzie Arnot could get a touch.
The third goal did come on the 79th minute as Emma Brownlie’s free-kick from the edge of the box bounced off the wall with Sam Kerr picking up on the loose ball. The midfielder showed strength to drive to the byline and pick out Brianna Westrup who side footed her effort into the back of the net.
In the final 10 minutes Sonia O’Neill had an effort as she took a touch from a Nicola Docherty throw before turning and curling an effort towards goal but it was tipped over the bar by Emily Mutch.
