After a close first half contest, the two teams were separated by Chelsea Cornet’s strike as Rangers went ahead at the break.
Substitute Mia McAulay had an instant impact as her strike from range doubled the advantage before Lizzie Arnot impressively curled in a third.
The youngster then rounded off the scoring as she tapped home from close range to round off the scoring as the Gers signed off for 2023 in style.
Head coach named two changes to the side that beat Motherwell last weekend, with Brogan Hay and Jodi McLeary starting on the flanks in place of Mia McAulay and Lizzie Arnot.
The first opportunity of the contest saw Rio Hardy meet an early Michelle Colson cross from the right side, but the striker headed wide of the near post as the Gers looked for a fast start.
Brogan Hay went close to breaking the deadlock after a clever piece of combination play with Libby Bance. The winger playing a clever one-two with the Brighton loanee, but her shot was just dragged past the far post.
Hamilton were more than holding their own after the first half in Cumbernauld. Sitting well in their shape they were limiting Rangers to very little throughout the first half.
Colson went closest to opening the lead for the Light Blues, but her header from a Kirsty Maclean free kick went just past the near post from close range.
Josi Giard almost tested Fife in the Gers goal with a well-struck shot from the left flank. The striker cut inside but saw her effort flew over the top of the crossbar.
Rangers went closest to going ahead through Rio Hardy, the striker latched onto a through ball from Maclean, but her shot came back off the post and stayed out.
Chelsea Cornet was on hand to fire home the opener for the hosts. The midfielder found herself well placed inside the area; the Gers worked the ball well at the edge of the box before she was found as she fired it beyond Chloe Nicolson at the near post to put the Gers in front.
Both Kirsty Maclean and Nicola Docherty were soon to be denied by the post as Rangers looked to go further in front, but the Accies managed to keep the score at just one going into the half time interval.
Jo Potter’s side doubled their lead at the start of the second half. Substitute Mia McAulay was on hand to smash home a terrific shot from range to make it two. Maclean took a corner shot and combined with Cornet before the youngster shifted the ball onto her right foot and smashed the ball into the far corner with a well taken goal.
Nicola Docherty once again tried her luck from range as the Gers looked for a third. The captain found herself in acres of space and opted to shoot but her effort flashed wide of the far post and behind.
Jane Ross and Lizzie Arnot were introduced as the Gers looked to pull further in front. They continued to threaten throughout the second period but were unable to add to their lead.
The sub Arnot did produce the moment of magic however to make it three. Cornet sent a long cross field ball to the winger; she cut inside and sent a curling effort into the far corner to add a third and put the result beyond any doubt.
There was time towards the end for McAulay to double her tally for the day and add a fourth. Ross swivelled inside the area and got her shot away; it was initially parried before the youngster was on hand to tap home the rebound as the Gers found the target for the final time in 2023.
