Emma Watson’s goal midway through the first-half was the difference at the break, before a dominant second-half display saw a double from Jenny Danielsson and goals from Jodi McLeary and Kayla McCoy add to the scoring.
Malky Thomson named seven changes to his team from Friday evening’s Old Firm defeat, with captain Kathryn Hill and striker Kirsty Howat ruled out through injury.
Lisa Martinez, Maddie Nolf, Chelsea Cornet, Emma Watson, Kirsty Maclean, Jodi McLeary and Kayla McCoy all came into the starting XI at Broadwood.
Jenna Fife retained her place in goal with a back four of Rachel McLauchlan, Hannah Davison, Lisa Martinez and Maddie Nolf.
Chelsea Cornet, Emma Watson and Kirsty Maclean were in midfield, while Kayla McCoy was supported up front by Jenny Danielsson and Jodi McLeary.
It was Rangers who got the action underway at Broadwood as the Light Blues looked to get back to winning ways in front of a home crowd.
There was an early stoppage in the match as Partick Thistle were forced into a change with just 5 minutes played as Cheryl McCulloch had to be stretchered off and was replaced by Jordan McLintock.
As the game resumed, the visitors had a corner which was swung into the box by Amy Bulloch with a header sent the way of Jenna Fife in the Rangers goal but the effort was blocked. On the break Emma Watson raced through on goal at the other end but she was denied by Lauren Grant.
With 19 minutes on the clock, Rangers found the breakthrough with their first real chance of the match following good build up play between Emma Watson and Jenny Danielsson.
Watson initially found the Finland international in space in the box, with Danielsson holding the ball up before returning to Watson who slotted low beyond Grant for her first league goal of the season.
The visitors were forced into another change just after the 20 minute mark as Rebecca McGowan was replaced by Claire Adams.
Maddie Nolf came close to doubling Rangers’ advantage shortly after as a powerful strike from inside the box was deflected onto the post.
Chances were few and far between for the Light Blues in the first-half, with Partick Thistle making it difficult for Malky Thomson’s side.
Emma Watson was booked in injury time of the first-half for a foul on Clare Docherty, with Partick Thistle awarded a free-kick just inside the Rangers half. The ball was swung into the box but Gers were able to deny the visitors a sight of goal to head in with the advantage at the break.
Into the second-half, it was Rangers who dominated the early minutes of the half and got their rewards as the advantage was doubled in the 51st minute. Emma Watson delivered a ball from the left into the box, which picked out Jenny Danielsson inside the box.
Danielsson controlled the ball well before picking out Jodi McLeary who made no mistake in guiding a shot beyond Grant.
McLeary turned provider shortly after as Rangers made it 3-0 in the 57th minute. The 17-year-old found space down the right and drove towards the byline before she whipped a ball into the box with Jenny Danielsson on hand to drill home from around the penalty spot.
It was a fantastic start to the second-half for Gers as they added a fourth goal in the 64th minute. Kayla McCoy was able to get the ball on the byline, Jenny Danielsson was again in space in the area and despite the efforts of the Thistle defence, she managed to guide the ball home.
The goals kept coming for Rangers and it was another well worked move as Rachel McLauchlan delivered an inviting ball into the box which Kayla McCoy got a strong connection on to head into the bottom corner of the net.
Laura Berry was introduced with 10 minutes of the game remaining for her Rangers senior debut at just 15-years-old, as she replaced striker Kayla McCoy.
The youngster had a chance at goal as she got on the end of a flick on from Megan Bell but she was unable to find the target as her effort looped just over the bar.
Seconds later, Berry had another opportunity as she got a touch on a Lizzie Arnot cross to turn it towards goal but it was cleared off the line by a Thistle defender.
Rangers’ attention now turns to a trip to face Spartans at Ainslie Park on Sunday.
