The Light Blues will host their city rivals at Broadwood Stadium tomorrow afternoon on their return from the international break, as they look to continue their positive momentum of late heading into a crucial period of the season.
Speaking to the official club website ahead of the clash in Cumbernauld, she commented: “I am really looking forward to it.
“We have had a good record against them so far this season so hopefully we can keep it at the weekend.
“I like to think that I try and score in all the big games.
“Try and help the team as much as possible.
“I think we have done that the last few games and kind of put our mark on the bigger teams and hopefully we can keep doing that.
“We will be ready to go at the weekend.”
The English forward has reflected on the most recent break for the squad, saying it was exactly what they needed to recharge to compete at the top for the rest of the season.
She continued: “It was good and enjoyable.
“I think it was at a good time for us and it was needed to just reset and be ready to go.
“We have got some big games coming up so I think it was important to prepare properly and resting was kind of what we needed.
“Going into the weekend hopefully we will push on from there with energised performances.
“I think the days off and time at home, seeing our families will have helped.
“Just being out of the building and then ready to come back raring to go.
“It was important, two-days leading in with everyone back in so it was good to get on the pitch with everyone.
“All the girls that have put in the hard work over the international break and some good performances while they were away.”
Tomorrow marks the start of a crunch three-game week for the Gers, after the derby they will head to Petershill to take on Glasgow City before a trip to the capital to take on Hibs once again, with the striker saying the side are targeting maximum points from the clashes.
She added: “We are not going to shy away with how important the next three games are.
“Hopefully we will step up to the mark and put on good performances like we have the last few and take as many points as possible.
“We are aiming for three wins out of three.”
