The striker ran out for the Light Blues for the first time since making the summer switch from Durham earlier this month as she marked her first appearance with a hat-trick in a dominant performance from the hosts.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game the forward says it was a moment she had been building up to and was happy the side were able to book their place in this weekend’s final.
She said: “It was a great feeling, I was really looking forward to it, it has been a tough pre-season, so it was all building up to that moment and I am really pleased with how it went.
“It was good to make my debut, but most importantly it was good to go into the final at the weekend."
The 27-year-old was pleased with the number of players finding the target on the night and believes it is important to share goals all around the team.
She continued: “It was definitely pleasing; it is good to get goals from all over and we showed that we are capable of doing that tonight.
The striker says she was happy to find the target on three occasions during her first 45 minutes as a Rangers player and feels they have shown a high level in how the team wants to play and wants them to continue showing that and building moving forward.
She added: “I was happy, but the most important thing was that we are through to the final at the weekend. I think we want to set the bar for how we want to play in every game so we are looking forward to it.”
