The striker bagged a goal in each half – her first coming from the penalty spot - to take her tally to 22 goals for the season in the convincing win over the defending champions.
The victory keeps Jo Potter’s side top of the table and unbeaten this season and Hardy was thrilled with the performance.
Speaking to Rangers TV, she said: “I’m really happy with how I have started and I am enjoying my football and you can tell that by how I am playing.
“The girls keep putting it on a plate for me and it is hard to miss some of them and most of my goals have been from inside the six-yard box.
“I am so happy and my team-mates make it easy for me.
“It is good to go in 1-0 up and get that goal before half time as it puts us on the front foot, ready for the second half.
“Jo said to us to keep doing what we were doing. We had a game plan that we had worked on all week.
“We started to grow into the game and get more control. We played in tight areas and were braver on the ball.
“We knew chances and goals would come and that’s what happened.
“I am delighted with the win and it puts us in a good position ahead of Montrose next week.
“It builds the momentum for the rest of the season.”
Hardy was the hero at one end but she was full of praise for keeper Jenna Fife and the defenders for getting another clean sheet.
She added: “Jenna didn’t have much to do and that’s something that we pride ourselves on.
“We know we can’t lose if we keep a clean sheet and we are happy with that.
“We have to keep pushing though.”
