In the latest instalment of our ‘Loan Rangers’ feature, RangersTV were invited along to the Home of the Set Fare Arena, which doubles up as Livingston’s stadium and training base, to gain insight into the full-back’s development.
We also spoke to Livi boss David Martindale about Fraser’s progress, as well as Rangers Loans Manager, Malky Thomson, and goalkeeper Liam Kelly who made over 60 appearances for Livingston in a three-year spell.
Fraser netted on his home debut for the Lions back in January and has made double digit appearances for the West Lothian side in a pulsating three-way title race with Falkirk and Ayr United in the Scottish Championship.
The 21-year-old said of his experience: “When Rangers and Livingston got in contact with each other and Rangers were happy for me to come here, it has all the standards in terms of winning and pushing to the top of the league that I want.
“I want to have that pressure every day where you’re trying to pick up three points, and I love that feeling of being under pressure to perform.
“I would say I’m definitely better off going back to Rangers now.
“I just want to do the best for Livingston, but I certainly feel in a better place physically, mentally and tactically.
“It makes you feel great to get a run of games. I have been pretty good with consistency over the years and I just try to maintain that as best as I can.”
