The young Gers defender spoke exclusively with RangersTV ahead of tonight’s home fixture against Civil Service Strollers and explained how they are experiencing the Lowland League so far, saying: “We are expecting a different type of challenge again, I think that they [Civil Service Strollers] will be very physical.
“It’s been brilliant, we’re delighted with how we have started - three wins and three clean sheets and we’ve adapted very well. Most of the squad haven't had this experience before, so we’re taking it in our stride and as a team, we’re really going for it.”
The full-back underlined how beneficial playing in the campaign this season is to the youngsters’ further learning, he added: “We take lots of confidence in that [maintaining clean sheets] as a team we’re improving constantly. We’ve got to learn all the time, we’re always doing our analysis sessions to see what we can improve on - every day is a learning day.
“We’re getting to the stage now where we’re trying to push to get to the first team and show what we can do to get to that level. There’s a lot on our shoulders but we just need to take it in our stride, the backroom staff are constantly supporting us, they're making sure we are ready for every game.
“I’m always watching [Borna Barisic] when he’s playing. The way he’s playing the game, his positional sense. I always watch clips of him to see what he’s doing right and wrong and try and implement that into my game.”
Fraser continued to say how encouraging having the supporters in the stadium is to the squad, adding: “It’s what we want as young players we want to have that experience to play in front of fans. We want to go and excite them.”
