DANNY Röhl praised a team performance as Rangers defeated Kilmarnock 3-0 in the Scottish Premiership this evening.
A double from Bojan Miovski and a Mikey Moore strike sealed the points for Gers at Rugby Park and the head coach believes his team are building step-by-step.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time he said: “I am very happy with that result, 3-0 is a good result, three goals and a clean sheet.
“It is a tough place to come, you feel it. There were a lot of long balls, second balls nand set-pieces and we defended really well today.
“When you compare the two away games then on Wednesday, we had much more chances but today we were really clinical, and I am happy for Bojan. He has developed a lot in the last seven days.
“It was good to have Mikey back, but it was a team performance as well and I am happy for them.
“A big thank you to the away supporters. It was outstanding today from the first minute. We felt this and if we do this together then we can do something special.”
The head coach says while he was happy with the performance, he will continue to demand more from the squad.
He continued: “I think in the first weeks we always conceded in these games a set play goal and today I felt really positive on the bench about this.
“In general, it is a good reaction, I am happy but not more, we have to continue, we need consistency.
“In some moments we lost a little bit of control even when we lead and this is what we have to improve so game management and if we do this then we have more chances to win games.
“If we continue, we can really make the next steps and we are in a good way, but it is hard work in this league, no one will give us a present, we have to deserve it and if we invest and put in a lot of effort in then we can win games.”
