ROSS McCAUSLAND has been named Academy of the Player Month for September, sponsored by Carrick Packaging.
The 20-year-old has been chosen by Academy coaching staff for his consistent displays for Rangers B and continuous drive to improve.
The Northern Ireland Under-21 international was instrumental in the young Gers dispatching Alloa Athletic to advance to the last 16 of the SPFL Trust Trophy in the month of September, opening the scoring with a terrific strike before playing a pivotal part in Findlay Curtis’ go-ahead goal six minutes from time.
McCausland was then rewarded for his form prior to the international break with successive first-team appearances, making his European debut before playing the majority of the Light Blues’ 3-0 victory away to St. Mirren.
