The 30-year-old became head coach Jo Potter’s third signing of the summer transfer window as the squad begins to take shape for the season ahead.
Speaking to RangersTV after making the move the midfielder is hoping she can play a part both on and off the pitch as she hopes to bring her valuable experience to the club.
She said: “I have been playing football for a long time, and there has been different levels that I have hit over the last few years and I think I have still got so much to offer. I am still growing and developing, on and off the pitch there is room for improvement and I want to bring both sides of that.
“I don't want to just think I can be successful on the pitch; I want to help the younger girls with whatever they need for me to be a leader and a good example to them. I feel like I can bring a lot of energy and experience, shooting and technical ability, I think I can bring quite a lot into the squad but we will see.
“I am excited and happy with the decision that I have made and people are happy with their best football out on the pitch, so that feeling that I have got now will only get bigger and I am really looking forward to that.”
The attacking midfielder believes it is an exciting time to be joining the club and is looking forward to learning under the guidance of her former teammate in Jo Potter.
She continued: “It is a big part of why I came to the club, obviously it has got phenomenal history, such a well-known club and very successful, but I know Jo quite well, we played together.
I know what she offers as a manager from seeing her within the WSL, I have got a lot of faith in what she plans to do within the club and I am really excited to see her develop as well as a team.
“It is so exciting, I want to continue to learn, I am certainly not done learning how to be a better footballer, and I think I can do that under Jo. She seen my strengths, the things I need to develop a bit more and I think I can do that here, it is somewhere where I can learn from Jo, and just kind of relight that fire in me playing.”
The Wales international feels the Light Blues are heading in the right direction with their summer transfer activity so far and is looking ahead to stepping out onto the pitch for the first time in the coming weeks.
She added: “Being the third signing that the club have made shows progress, the Scottish league as everyone can see has been progressing really well over the last few years.
“That was one of the pulls for me coming up here was that I want to be a part of that evolution and change and making the league better and being a catalyst for more players taking the league and coming up here.
“It is developing and it is a good league and it is only going to get better, so being a part of this and the club being more successful that is part of the plan, we want to have a successful season and everyone at the club is raring to go.
“I am so excited, it has been a long time since I have had change, I don't think the emotions have fully settled in yet, but it is going to be a massive smile the day that I get to do that and hopefully it is going to be pretty soon.”
