The midfielder hadn’t featured for the Light Blues since the opening day win over Spartans but was introduced as a half time substitute during the victory in the capital.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of the team’s return to league action against Hamilton this weekend Rowe reflected on being back and says she is now targeting a return to full fitness in the coming weeks ahead.
She said: “It was really good; it is every player's nightmare being out but it was quite a quick turnaround with rehab and being back out there is great. Going away was good, it was good progress, it put me in a better position when I came back. Every minute counts at the moment. I am still trying to get full match fitness so hopefully that will come in time.
“I think it was a dominant performance, especially after the last time we played them, it is progress. We played good football; we pinned them in from the start and we got the reward at the end.
The Wales international says the team are heading in the right direction as they look for another positive result in the SWPL as they look to continue their impressive run of form.
She continued: “I think it is all about progressing, it is about all taking what we do on the pitch and implementing that from outside here onto game day and developing individually as well as collectively.
“I think we know what to expect from Hamilton. They are going to sit in deep, probably be defensively strong, so it is about what we can do on the ball. Moving the ball fast and doing things we have worked on in training this week, putting them into practice.”
“The girls have been great, there has been lots of goals and there is lots of confidence within the squad at the moment. It is just keeping that run going up until obviously a big game at the end of October as well.”
The 31-year-old has expressed her excitement over the team’s upcoming fixture against Hibs at Ibrox and says the opportunity to play in the stadium is only beneficial for the women’s game in Scotland.
She added: “I am really excited for that, I haven't been over to the stadium yet, so seeing that and hopefully going to get a good turnout of fans and seeing that atmosphere over there is going to be amazing. For us it is so early on in the season but I think it is going to be a real boost for us as a group.
“I mentioned in my initial interview the growth of it, and I think having a game there so early on in the season hopefully we will get more. I think generally speaking that is going to be good for Scottish football to see it in those big stadiums.”
