The midfielder’s volley in the first half was the difference between the two sides, with Gers claiming another three points in the Scottish Premiership.
"For me, it was all about the team and getting the win today as we knew it would be another step closer to where we want to be,” Jack told Rangers TV after the 1-0 success.
"Helping by getting the goal was special for me and I am delighted with that.
"Recently, the games have been tough and teams have maybe been coming at us a wee bit more and making it that bit more difficult.
"But credit to the lads again, we stood up to it, it is a massive three points and we move on."
"It fell nicely at the edge of the box. I think I had it in my head to be honest before the ball even came out that if it fell to me at the edge of the box then I was just going to have a shot and thankfully, I managed to take a great touch and it went in.
"I am delighted with the three points and we move onto the next game which is another big one."
"It is special for me, and the time of the season we are at as well, it is special for it to be the winning goal and help get the lads over the line.
"But again, it was a great team performance defensively - I thought the lads at the back never game up any chances and I don't think Greegsy had much to do and if we were a wee bit more ruthless, on our day we maybe win three or four nil.
"But at this stage of the season, we have got to just take the three points and move on."
Jack returned to the side three weeks ago following a near two-month injury lay-off, and he has been delighted with his performances since coming back into the side.
He continued: "I know myself that injuries are part and parcel of the game and I try to never get too down when I do pick up injuries and take the good with the bad if you like.
"That time gave me time to reflect and get focused on when I did return, and thankfully, I managed to help today and hopefully, going forward, I can keep contributing."
Through their excellent campaign so far, Gers now have a Last 32 Europa League tie away to Royal Antwerp to look forward to on Thursday night.
On that, Jack added: "We are really looking forward to it. We deserve to be getting that tie and be where we are at.
"We have done very well in the competition in the group stage, but we will take it as it comes. We are going to go in on Thursday, give it our all and hopefully it's enough to get us through and into the next round."
