Ryan Jack Signs New Contract

RANGERS can today announce that Ryan Jack has signed a two year contract extension, committing his future to Rangers until 2023.

The midfielder joined the Light Blues from Aberdeen in June 2017 on an initial three-year-contract. He then signed an extension in December 2018, taking him until 2021, before this latest deal.

Speaking to RangersTV, Jack said: “I’m delighted to commit my future to Rangers, and the club have shown great ambition to get me re-signed on a new deal.

The 27-year-old made his competitive debut for the Gers at Ibrox in a 1-0 win over Progres Niederkorn in June 2017 and has gone on to make more than 75 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Once again Jack has been a key player in the middle of the park this season, making 16 appearances so far.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard said: “We’re delighted that Ryan has extended his contract with the club. He is a very easy to manage and is a real leader and winner on the pitch.

“We believe that there is a lot more to come from him before he reaches his potential and we look forward to working with him for the next few years.

Jack’s first goal for the Light Blues came in December 2018 as he scored the only goal of the game to give Rangers a 1-0 victory in the Old Firm Derby at Ibrox.
