RANGERS midfielder Sam Kerr has been named Park’s Motor Group SWPL Player of the Month for April.
Kerr is the fourth Rangers player to win the award this season alongside Jenny Danielsson, Tessel Middag and Brogan Hay.
It was a fantastic month on the pitch for the 24-year-old as she played a key role in victories over Hibernian, Partick Thistle, Glasgow City and Hearts to help Rangers to an unbeaten month in the league.
Kerr scored five goals, including a hat-trick against Partick Thistle, and was on target against both Hearts and Hibs.
Speaking after picking up the award, she said: “I was really honoured that I was nominated in the first place, and I am thankful to everyone who voted for me for the award.
"It was my first hat-trick competitively for the club, so I was really happy with it and my family were there.
“I am getting chances and getting shots on target now, so I just need to keep taking them when they come and not put too much pressure on myself.”
