It was an impressive display from the Light Blues at Broadwood and Kerr praised the team for their intent and energy to secure a place in the last four of the competition.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, she said: “The team came out with intent as soon as the first whistle blew, and we played really well in the first-half and managed to get the goals in.
“We were really happy with that performance and then we came out in the second-half and managed to get a couple more so it was a great team performance and we are through to the semi-finals which was our aim.
“We came out with energy, we took responsibility and we all did our roles on the pitch and it has shown in our performance.
“There's a true relentlessness within the squad, we don’t stop, we want goals and we want to keep pressure on teams. We played really well and managed to get a few goals in a small space of time.”
Kerr was one of six different goalscorers for Rangers this afternoon and the midfielder was delighted to find the back of the net.
She continued: “It has been a long time coming, each week we talk about it saying it is going to be my time for a goal. The cross came in and I shouted for the ball and Lizzie [Arnot] ducked out of the way and I just connected with it well and it went in the back of the net.
“We celebrated like it is the first ever goal I have scored in my life, so I am glad I was able to score, and the girls are all happy for me.
“It just shows the strength and the depth in our team. We know that anyone in the team could’ve been on the scoresheet today and we really drove that forward with relentlessness and hopefully we can take that into the semi-final when the time comes.”
