The striker became Jo Potter’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window as her attacking options were strengthened further with the forward joining from London City Lionesses.
Speaking to RangersTV after agreeing the move to the Gers the 31-year-old feels she has had to adapt her game having spent the last two years playing football south of the border, but says she is returning having learned a lot from the different style of play in England.
She said: “Going away I have learned a lot and I can bring that experience back and I have obviously played in the league before as well, as much as it has changed and got better I think I can still bring my experience in and still learn as well.
“I am looking forward to being part of the group, I think they have got a lot of good youngsters coming through but they have also got really good experience as well, it is a good mix.
“I am a bit more well-rounded than I was before, in terms of going forward, holding the ball in and trying to link play as much as getting in behind a defence. I definitely think I have come back a different player than I was when I left, I am really excited. I know what to expect from each team, every team in the league has grown since I last played up here, but I do know what to expect I have been paying attention to the league since I have been away as well.”
The striker feels it is an exciting time to be joining the Gers and feels the club are building something special and heading in the right direction with their recruitment so far.
She continued: “It is definitely an exciting time to be joining, already there been such a good squad here, and the additions that Jo has been brought in have been fantastic, I am really looking forward to getting in and around the squad.
“I think the direction that the club is going in is something that I want to really be a part of, I think they are building into something special, and it is definitely something that I see growing and want to be a part of so I am really excited.”
The forward says the opportunity to work under head coach Jo Potter played a big part in her decision to join the club and is eager to get amongst the squad as the start of the new league season approaches.
She added: “I spoke to a few girls that played under her at Birmingham and they had so many good things to say about Jo and the detail in her coaching, I am really looking forward to working with Jo and learning a lot, I think I can still learn, I am an experienced player but I can still learn a lot and working under Jo is going to make me an even better player.
“I can't wait to get going, I just want to get in with the girls and start training, I can't wait for the first game, it is going to be an enjoyable season.”
