The striker suffered the setback in the summer missing the entirety of the campaign so far before making a cameo in the Scottish Cup victory on Sunday where she also found the back of the net on two occasions.
Speaking to RangersTV reflecting on her time out, she commented: “I feel great, it is always nice to come back from injury and just get on the pitch and getting two goals it is just the icing on the cake.
“It has been a tough six months and I have worked really hard to get to this point.
“I am really pleased and all the girls have been amazing and they were so happy for me just being in the squad again, I am delighted.
“Off the back of last season having a few niggles at the start of the season and not really getting a pre-season, in my head at the end of last season I thought right ok I am going to come and get a good pre-season and it is just typical isn't it.
“It has been hard but I am just delighted to be back and I think all the hard work just pays off in the end.”
The forward has spoken of being back involved with the group in recent weeks as she builds up her sharpness once again, saying she will have to work hard to earn her spot in the team given the competition for places in the forward areas.
She continued: “I have felt good, in terms of my rehab I worked hard with the physio to get to a point where I was coming back in and I wasn't feeling completely miles off it.
“I think it is always difficult to come back in at this point in the season where the girls are flying and sometimes you do feel maybe a step behind but just training with them the last couple of weeks it has been good to kind of progress that.
“I am just trying to build on that now and take it up to Christmas and get a good couple of weeks into training as well.
“It is always healthy having good competition in every position, I think you can see that with the squad this year, the amount of competition we have in every position right across the board.
“I think it has pushed us even more this season, you can see that with performances and results and it is something that you want to be in and you thrive off that competition.
“Obviously I am going to have to work really hard to get myself in the starting lineup and get myself on the bench but it is something that I am relishing and looking forward too.”
Jo Potter’s side are quickly back in action tomorrow evening when they turn their attention to SWPL duties against Motherwell, with the 32-year-old hopeful of three victories to see out the year before the winter break.
She added: “We are straight back into it on Wednesday and I think it is going to be a tough game.
“They are a good team and I think they have shown that especially this season.
“We know what we are going to come up against so we have to be on our A game and take positives from Sunday into Wednesday.
“I think every game that we go into is going to be difficult.
“As cliche as it is we look on the next game coming up but we know that we have got Glasgow City and Hibs afterwards so we are going to have be at our best in each three of the games coming up before Christmas and hopefully add to the performances that we have had this season already.”
