Arfield has featured in fixture action recently and admitted that there is an important task at hand as they head into Thursday night’s game.
The Light Blue spoke with the media today ahead of their match against the Danish side and said: “I’m always raring to go when I get the opportunity. I’m back in the squad after weeks out so I’m fresh to go and I’m looking forward to it.
“There’s no denying that this is a big game. When you lose your first two fixtures the next two are going to be massive. They were always going to be big games if we want to progress, we know that as a team and individually.
“The biggest aspect is how you bounce back, and we’ve been managing to win games, obviously you want the perfect result and performance but sometimes teams will make it difficult for you so it’s always about how you bounce back.
“When you play for Rangers, every game is a big game. There’s no more pressure than usual but it’s one we are looking forward to and we need the desired result.”
The Ger expressed his delight to be back playing within the team and insisted that you must possess the right mentality to be successful in football.
He continued: “Attitude is probably the most important thing to have as a football player, if you’ve not got attitude and personality then you’ll find yourself in tough situations. Everyone in this squad has self-belief and attitude.
“I’m no different to any other player, whether you’re 18 or 33 you want to be playing football and training.
"It was always about doing the consistent things and when you get given the opportunity to try and take it.
"I think it’s been well documented over the years that this team is getting stronger with personnel.
"You obviously know that when you get back in there you need to take it and try and stay in there as long as possible.”
