Wright says it is important the Light Blues make use of the games to ensure they are ready for the start of the Scottish Premiership season against Livingston on July 31.
He was speaking exclusively to RangersTV this week, as your club channel continues to be the only place to follow Steven Gerrard’s men this pre-season.
Wright said: “The most important thing for us in pre-season is to make sure we are ready for July 31 against Livingston.
“We have got some brilliant pre-season games lined-up and they are all going to pose a different challenge for us which is ideal when we are trying to work some things out and make sure we are in tip-top shape for the game against Livingston.”
Wright praised the staff who have helped him continue to develop his game both on and off the pitch since joining in January, including lead performance coach Craig Flannigan and strength and conditioning specialist Paraskevas Polychronopoulos.
He continued: “I have got to thank Flanny and Para, they have been fantastic with me ever since I came in the door. I worked with Flanny at Scotland a few years back so it was good to have a friendly face when I came in. He looked after my nutrition and Para has looked after me in the gym but they have tailored it to my needs and they have both been fantastic.
“I am just wanting to improve every single day and I am wanting to break into the team and make that spot my own. I want to bring what I can to the team and try and help out in every way.”
