The young Gers, who are current holders of the competition, made it to the last four with a 4-0 victory over Partick Thistle at the end of last month.
Led by David McCallum and Kevin Thomson, the Light Blues under-18’s along with Aberdeen’s youngsters are both unbeaten in the CAS League season.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of the match, McCallum said: “They have been doing really well this season so we expect the game to be probably one of the toughest games so far but we look forward to that because the players need that type of challenge.
“Obviously we know each other from previous seasons but the fact that they have been doing so well in the league suggests it is going to be a really tough game but I would like to think it would be similar from their point of view.”
McCallum hopes to have a few players back from injury for the cup tie.
He continued: “We have a few injuries and a few unavailable but we have a couple back that we didn’t expect.
“I think it is good to have an understanding and awareness of the opposition because it sets them up well looking for going into senior football but still remembering what you are good at and making sure we use that to our advantage and take the game to them.
