Seat Transfer Process For Existing Season Ticket Holders

Following the closure of the 2026/27 season ticket renewal period, the club can now confirm details of the upcoming seat transfer process for existing season ticket holders, including key dates, eligibility criteria and how the phased access system will operate.

The 2026/27 seat move process will begin on Tuesday 12 May, offering eligible supporters the opportunity to move to alternative seats through a phased transfer process.

Due to the exceptional renewal rate, seat availability is limited with mainly single seats available across various stands.

Moving in groups may be difficult, but it is possible that more seats could open up as we move through the process.

The process will follow a similar approach to last year, when over 2,300 supporters successfully moved seats during the summer. Supporters will again have full visibility of all available seats, affording the opportunity to select their preferred location.

Information on new season ticket sales will be shared following the conclusion of the seat transfer process for existing season ticket holders.

HOW WILL THE SEAT TRANSFER PROCESS WORK?

All supporters on the seat transfer waiting list will receive an email confirming their registration and inclusion in the process.

Eligible supporters will then be contacted in two stages. Around 24 hours before their transfer window opens, they will receive an email confirming their eligibility and the date and time their window begins. A second email will follow to mark the start of their window, containing a personalised link to access the seat move platform.

Access will be introduced in phases, with supporters receiving their invitation as their window opens.

THE PROCESS WORKS AS FOLLOWS

  • You can access and view all currently available seats across the stadium.

  • Prices will be shown when a seat is added to the basket.

  • Seat moves are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • To process more than one seat move in a single transaction, all members must be registered in a friendship group and on the seat transfer waiting list. Applicable to current friendship groups only.

  • At checkout, a £5 fee is added, which covers the cost of a new smartcard and administrative costs.

  • Once checked out, you will receive a confirmation email which includes the new seat details.

  • If there is an increase in price between your previous seat and your new seat, the Ticketing Team will contact you by phone to confirm the move and take payment details for any difference in cost.

  • If your new seat is the same price, or less than your previous seat, you won’t be contacted directly, however you will receive a second confirmation email once the move has been confirmed by the Ticketing Team.

  • Once a seat move has been confirmed, it is final. The original seat will be released back into the system for others to select in the days following your move, so we strongly encourage you to review all available options before proceeding.

Supporters will remain eligible to move seats after their priority window has passed and can continue to access the platform up until the final deadline of 17:00 on Friday 22 May.

Ahead of your seat move window, you can view our Seat Move FAQs for more details.

PLATFORM ACCESS AND CONSIDERATION

To ensure fairness and transparency, the process will be delivered through phased access windows over the next two weeks, beginning with identified priority groups before moving through the waiting list in chronological order.

The phases will operate as follows:

  • Supporters who have requested a seat transfer for accessible reasons and supporters in the Broomloan Stand, whose seats currently do not include league fixtures against Celtic, will be given the first opportunity to move seat, with their window opening on Tuesday 12 May.

  • After that, access will open in chronological order based on when supporters joined the seat transfer waiting list. New windows will open every couple of days, and supporters can expect an email around 24 hours before their window opens.

Supporters wishing to move into the Copland Front Singing Section will follow a separate process and those interested should email contact@rangers.co.uk.

Please note that more than 5,500 supporters are currently on the seat transfer waiting list. As a result, while we are committed to offering the widest possible opportunity for moves, availability is expected to be limited - particularly in high-demand areas.
