The young midfielder was on the scoresheet in a rampant 11-0 win for the Gers as she fired home from distance in the second half after being introduced at the half-time interval.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, the Academy graduate commented: “I’m so happy. I’ve really been working for this moment and to finally see it pay off on the pitch is an amazing feeling.
“I just got it on the edge of the penalty box and thought that I needed to have a dig. It’s went in and I’m delighted with that, so I’ll take it!
“[Leanne] told me to go out and enjoy myself, show what I’ve been working on in training, be calm on the ball, and do what she knows I can do.
“I’m really grateful for this opportunity and she has shown belief in me as a young player, so I’m really happy to get minutes.”
Black was recently recalled from her loan spell at Motherwell and brought back into Crichton’s squad as they compete on three fronts for the remainder of the campaign.
With such vast quality in the squad, the young midfielder is battling alongside both youth and experience in the middle of the pitch.
But she believes her loan spell in the top flight served her well and she’s keen to show what she’s all about for the rest of the season.
She added: “I really enjoyed my loan spell at Motherwell. I got some really valuable minutes and felt like I showed myself.
“It’s great to be brought back in and it feels like the next step for me to take in my journey.
“I’m so grateful for everything Motherwell did for me. The training environment is so competitive there too. I got minutes which is what I was looking for and scored a few goals.
“The squad here is so competitive and it’s developing me as a young player every single day.
“I’m learning, and any opportunities that I get I’ll take them and the goal today shows that.”
